    Macedonia-VAT Update


    Macedonia will increase its annual VAT registration threshold from MDEN 1million up to MDEN 2million effective 1st January 2020. Voluntary VAT registration for businesses below this threshold will remain in place. Resident businesses above this limit will have to register and charge 18% VAT and will have to file local VAT returns.
