EC Sales Lists
EU VAT registered business trading with other EU VAT registered business may be required to file EC Sales lists on a regular basis reporting all sales being made.
These reports provide VAT authorities with the necessary information ensuring VAT is being correctly accounted for by businesses trading across the EU. Unlike intrastat reports (which monitors the movement of goods only), EC sales lists report not only the supply of goods but also services that have been made cross-border throughout the EU.
