    Estonia – VAT Rate Change from 22% to 24% effective 1 July 2025


    Further to our news story last year, Estonia has confirmed that it will change its standard VAT rate from 22% to 24% effective 1 July 2025.  The measure, introduced to cover an increased budget on defence spending, was initially planned to be temporary.  However the finance minister has confirmed the rate will apply permanently from 1 July 2025.   

     

    Businesses should review internal processes and ensure ERP systems/finance systems are updated accordingly.
