    Imported digital sales will be liable to GST in Singapore


    The local tax authorities in Singapore have confirmed that from 2020, non-Singaporean suppliers of digital services will be liable to remit GST on their supplies to Singaporean customers including both business and non-business. The charge will be manditory for businesses whose annual global turnover exceeds SGD1M, and whose annual digital sales to Singaporean customers exceeds SGD100,000.
