    Malaysia: To End GST


    Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has confirmed that GST will be reduced down to 0% from the current 6% rate, which effectively removes the tax. Supplies currently exempt from GST will retain this treatment. The reduction comes into force effective 1st June 2018.
